I am an economist at the American Institutes for Research in Arlington, VA. I received my doctorate in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018.My research focuses on the economics of education. While the majority of my work centers on the university level, my interests and previous work extend to factors of student success in primary and secondary school settings. Utilizing my background in applied econometrics and experience conducting research for school administrations, I hope to contribute to the broader understanding of what influences learning and conduct research that better informs education policy.
