ABOUT KYLE CALVIN CAMPBELL
Over the past decade I\'ve had the fortune of working with award winning agencies and brands across the country to craft high caliber music and audio for multi-media.Some of my end commercial clients include: Disney, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Masterclass, GM, Lionsgate, Founders Brewing, Wolverine Worldwide, Steelcase, Zimmer Biomet, Whirlpool, and Ruth\'s Chris Steakhouse.Born and raised in metro Detroit, my career started as a production assistant on Hollywood films like Whip It, Red Dawn, and Cedar Rapids. And boom operator for one of Dave Bautista\'s earliest films, House of the Rising Sun. Simultaneously, I was writing music and mixing audio for clients on the side until it made sense for me to take the jump and set up shop in Grand Rapids, where I had attended college and made formative relationships with awesome production companies.In music I specialize in writing inspirational orchestral and rock genres. I write in both the catalogue and custom worlds. Notable opportunities include working with Jars of Clay\'s music on the film series For The Life Of The World, scoring a summer camp comedy Camp Manna staring Garey Busey, Jimmy Tatro, and Evan Koons, the awe immersive documentary about the culture and craft of tobacco pipes, Father The Flame, and helping my kids write and develop musical ideas they\'re really excited about.Skills-wise, I am well versed in Pro Tools, Logic X, a plethora of Kontakt libraries, and Izotope\'s RX suite. Onset I have a solid Sound Devices kit with top shelf mics and gear.Always open to considering collaborations or grabbing coffee!
