ABOUT KRISTYNE RAMSEY
Kristyne R. Ramsey is a Board Certified Music Therapist who has a degree in music therapy from Baldwin-Wallace College and The Cleveland Music Therapy Consortium. She completed her music therapy internship at Fairfield Developmental Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. After becoming registered with the National Association for Music Therapy and Board Certified, Kristyne contracted with a variety of agencies in Canton, Ohio, including nursing homes, hospitals and DD programs. In 1990, Kristyne moved to Chillicothe, Ohio where she established a music therapy program for Pickaway County Board of DD at Brooks-Yates Center. Throughout the past 28 years she has established music therapy programs for Head Start in Pickaway and Ross Counties, Ross County Easter Seals, and private music therapy for several children with autism. For the past 17 years she has been the full time music therapist with Ross County Board of DD at the Pioneer Center. In 2011 Kristyne developed an affiliated music therapy internship program with Baldwin-Wallace University and in 2012 her internship became Nationally Rostered through the American Music Therapy Association closing in June of 2018. She has presented workshops and in-services at numerous agencies and conferences. Kris also created “Music Time” an early childhood developmental music program for children birth to 5. For 28 years, Kris had been devoted to the Chillicothe community in various churches, Chillicothe Civic Theater, Junior Civic League, Rock for Tots, Big Brothers Big Sisters and assisted in various Chillicothe Jaycees events and fundraisers. In June of 2018 Kris and her family relocated to the Marion, OH area. During her time in Marion, OH she developed \"Music Time\" for the Marion County Public Library and was the music therapist for a variety of private clients. In July of 2020 Kris and her daughter moved to Carmel, IN. She has three children, Michele, Brian and Erin. When Kris is not busy serving her community and it\'s families through Music Therapy she enjoys working as an Executive Consultant with Rodan+Fields skin care helping people with their many skin concerns.
