ABOUT KRISTINA TKAC

Hi, my name is KristinaI’m a consultant focused on helping organizations do meaningful work more effectively. I tend to sit at the intersection of operations, strategy, and people, figuring out what actually needs to happen, who needs to be involved, and how to move things forward in a way that’s practical and grounded. A lot of my work has been shaped by experience in emergency response, public health, animal welfare, and legal aid. Being close to those systems, especially when things are under pressure, has made me care deeply about good planning, clear decision-making, and leadership that stays steady when it matters most. I’m particularly interested in work that aims to do the most good, including: Effective altruism and applied ethics Animal welfare Global health and wellbeing Humanitarian response and capacity building Global catastrophic risks Legal aid and justice reform In practice, I tend to contribute by: Working with leadership teams to clarify priorities and make better use of systems and technology Building and improving processes so teams can operate more consistently and with less friction Coordinating responses to complex or fast-moving situations Leading and supporting teams through high-pressure work Designing trainings and structures that actually get used (not just documented) Outside of work, I’m usually traveling, trail running (loosely), skiing, or rock climbing.Email: k••••••••@gmail.comCore Strengths: project management, operations, communication, and building teams that work well together
