ABOUT KRISHNA KUMAR GOVINDANKUTTY

I started my professional journey in the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) at the grassroots level. Initially, I conducted surveys, interviews, and facilitated focus groups. Within a short span of time, I was entrusted with leading a team of enumerators, and subsequently, I assumed the responsibility of developing data collection tools, analyzing data, facilitating reflection events and preparing reports. I also had the opportunity to serve as a project coordinator for a developmental initiative aimed at empowering the tribal community. This experience provided me with a deep understanding of community-driven projects and their impact.As my career progressed, I transitioned into managerial roles where I evaluated development projects undertaken by both governmental bodies and NGOs. This exposure honed my strategic thinking skills and enhanced my ability to analyze complex situations.Since 2013, I have been associated with international NGOs. In this capacity, I have participated in project design teams and led MEAL systems development of projects/emergency responses, while working closely with implementing partners. I am deeply passionate about all aspects of MEAL, driven by a strong belief in its value and the potential it holds for positive change. Furthermore, I have a keen interest in fostering learning and development opportunities, recognizing their significance in empowering individuals and organizations.
