Provide leadership on supply chain management in the field to minimize risk and maximize the scale, effectiveness and efficiency of relief and development operations. Collaboratively identify and support deployment of field SCM standards, the processes that support those standards, and the technical competence that is required for it. Assist field offices to ensure that best practices and CRS Supply Chain Management policies and procedures are captured in proposals with commodities (food and non-food items) and in ongoing implementation of relevant programs. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for development of SCM competencies and the identification of appropriate learning and mentoring opportunities, based on field, colleague, and donor interactions.
