Department Production Manager responsible for managing all CG departments at Rising Sun Pictures consisting of Modelling, Creature, Lookdev, CFX, Rig, Animation, Layout, Effects and Lighting- Helped setup department processes for Assets, Layout, Effects and created department specific production tools- Maintain an overall view of the progress of the day-to-day work of teams to the department schedule- Communicate variations from the schedule, along with proposed solutions, clearly and immediately to the Show Production Managers. Escalate to Head of Production or Executive Producer as required- Monitor allocations and resolve any cross-show resource conflicts, escalating to the Head of Production when required. Manage priorities within the department- Monitor and troubleshoot department-level issues. Escalate to Overall HOD and/or Head of Production as required- Forecast TOIL/OT for the department and report to Producers and Head of Production-Approve artist leave in communication with shows.
