Consult for a new facility with an owner new to the industry with the goal of helping them understand the nuances of the mental health industry compared to other industries. Driving new business and how that’s done in an ethical way, setting realistic time lines and financial costs for quality clients who truly want and need help. Helping them understand that we are helping humans which are not a “product”, therefore cannot be treated like one when they’re building their business in a way that gains a reputation of compassion and high quality clinical care while balancing the business end in a legal and ethical manner. The long road is always the hardest but it’s always the right road. My goal is to help owners and business development representatives understand this idea.
