ABOUT KIT KNISS
I am a recent graduate of the MDiv/JD program at Wake Forest University, looking for work in direct legal services. I entered into this program because I wanted to approach my legal work from a place of holistic care and service. My professional experience has included civil impact litigation and direct legal services in the areas of housing, domestic violence, and immigration law. I approach this work from the lens of movement lawyering, realizing that legal support is just one tool of many towards creating thriving communities. My passion lies in building power to imagine new worlds through mutual aid, spiritual care, and breaking down legal barriers, and I’m looking for opportunities that allow me to continue on this vocational path.
