ABOUT KATIE BLAGDEN

With a robust background in marketing, I have had the privilege of working with clients across the hospitality, retail, and animal pharmaceutical sectors. However, in 2020, I made a pivotal career transition to the non-profit world, leveraging my program management expertise to drive impactful awareness and training programs. In my last role, I served as the Program Manager for international capacity-building initiatives, including the Reducing Maritime Trafficking of Wildlife Between Africa and Asia trainings in East Africa. I work closely with strategic partners such as USAID and the UN Development Programme, overseeing program budgets, logistical support, and the development and implementation of plans. My responsibilities extend to preparing detailed quarterly technical and impact reports and managing all procurement processes for both domestic and international projects. Before joining the Grace Farms Foundation, I honed my skills as a Management Supervisor at a global marketing agency and gained valuable experience in the fashion industry. These roles equipped me with a diverse skill set that I now apply to support training and outreach efforts aimed at combating human trafficking, gender-based violence, and wildlife trafficking. I am deeply committed to utilizing my project management and administrative skills to make a meaningful impact in the non-profit sector. Let\'s connect!
