ABOUT KIRSTIN RENFROW

I am a finance analyst with a Bachelor\'s and MBA in Finance, Accounting and Economics from the University of Arkansas. I joined Walmart as an analyst in August 2022, and have been exposed to multiple areas of finance and accounting through three six-month rotations throughout the enterprise. In my current rotation, I support the Investor Relations team in preparing quarterly earnings releases, executive and board insights, institutional shareholder communications, and strategic decision projects. I also conduct financial analysis and research on industry trends, peer companies, and macroeconomic factors. In my previous rotation, I was involved in the finance aspects of the new Walmart Home Office development project and current corporate portfolio, working with the Corporate Real Estate and Corporate Affairs teams. I contributed to cost allocation strategies, contract negotiations, long-range planning, and reporting of the project and portfolio, as well as the stakeholder engagement and communication. In my first rotation, I worked in Sam\'s Club on the Segment Financial Planning and Analysis team, where I helped with the weekly executive trade meeting, monthly close process, variance analysis, and business insights. Additionally, I completed a three-month internship in Walmart International on the Global Sourcing finance team, where I gained experience in international supply chains and cross-cultural collaboration, focusing on long range headroom analysis within our international markets. I am passionate about learning new skills, delivering value to the company, and advancing my career in finance. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a strong work ethic, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
