CURRENT: President of KEAN - Kirk founded KEAN Project Engineering, Inc. in 2007. He carries out business development, project development, project management and field service. Principal Member KEAN Energy, LLC - Kirk co-founded KEAN Energy, LLC. in 2009. He carries out business development, project identification, public, banking and investor relations. PAST: Manager-Member Electricity Maine, LLC - Kirk co-founded Electricity ME in 2010. He carried out business planning and development, customer acquisition strategy, management of load profile and scheduling, and public and investor relations. Project & Procurement Manager for flue gas isolation OEM – while working here, Kirk was a member of the senior management team reporting to the VP-COO. In this role he managed the custom engineering and manufacturing of flue gas isolation equipment. In two years he was responsible for the sales of more than $20MM in sales volume as the company grew from $20MM in annual sales to $70MM in annual sales. Senior Process Manager Mechanical Maintenance – in this position for International Paper, Kirk was responsible for mechanical maintenance crews while rebuilding a world class coated paper machine. Process Manager Power - Responsible for daily operation of 1.6 MM lb/hr steam and water cycle. As well as three GE 30 MW steam turbines, five 900 lb. Boilers with fuel sources of chemical recovery, fuel oil and combustible waste. Daily focus on maximizing efficiency and reducing daily operating costs by balancing purchased versus own make steam and electricity.
