ABOUT KIM KIMBALL
I\'m Kim Kimball-a somatic coach, life transition guide, and Doctor of Physical Therapy.I work with women standing at thresholds-asking themselves \"Where did I go?\" and unable to think their way back.Maybe you\'re in matrescence and can\'t reconcile motherhood with who you were before.Maybe you\'re at midlife and the life you carefully built no longer fits.Maybe you deconstructed your faith and lost your entire community.Maybe you\'re in career change and lost yourself, not just your job.Maybe you received a late diagnosis and everything suddenly makes sense-and nothing fits anymore. The common thread: you\'ve been abandoning yourself to keep everyone else comfortable. And you\'re done. This work isn\'t about fixing what\'s broken. It\'s about stopping the pattern of self-abandonment and reclaiming sovereignty. My approach is grounded in somatic practices, nervous system regulation, and deep identity work. It\'s not about strategies or formulas. It\'s about learning to trust the intelligence of what\'s dissolving and what\'s emerging-and staying with yourself through the entire crossing.Clients come to me when they can\'t think their way through what they\'re navigating. They\'re in the middle of an identity reconfiguration, and they need body-based support to help them orient, discern, and integrate. One client stopped feeling guilty every time she wanted something that wasn\'t about her kids-and actually let herself have it.Another walked away from a 20-year friendship that had been draining her and felt grief and relief at the same time.Another left the career she spent 15 years building and her nervous system didn\'t treat it like she was dying. This work is for women who\'ve done therapy, read the books, and are ready for the deeper layers—the somatic work that can\'t be thought through.I offer private somatic coaching through my program Crossing the Threshold, and a low-barrier entry point called Threshold Mapping Day for women exploring this work.If you\'re navigating an identity transition and ready to stop abandoning yourself, learn more at kimkimballcoaching.com.
