AHDB is a statutory levy board funded by farmers, growers and others in the supply chain. Its purpose being to inspire the industry to succeed in a rapidly changing world. The Retail & Consumer Insight team (RCI) is integral to this objective as it helps the industry better understand and deliver what food consumers will trust and buy. My role is to track, monitor and evaluate consumer needs, behaviours and purchasing decisions, translating data into insights and opportunities for stakeholders and levy payers. Responsibilities:• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely analysis on the food market and AHDB sectors via regular outputs, articles, deep dive reports and ad-hoc requests.• Lead relevant research projects from brief to delivery, ensuring objectives are met and learnings are clear.• Support internal stakeholders in the interpretation and meaning of relevant data to help build future strategies. For example, insight driven development of consumer campaigns with Marketing and category reviews for Retail Engagement.• Elevate the team profile externally through preparing and communicating high-level insight, building and maintaining contacts with a wide range of industry stakeholders.
