ABOUT AMEYA ASHOK NAIK
Psychologist at heart, lapsed lawyer, aspiring diplomat. Nurturing a feminist curiosity. Policy design professional working on governance, state capacity, and institution-building. Significant experience as an editor, writer, & researcher; four years ( & counting) managing teams, projects, & programs. Currently, I lead the Policy Analysis & Research team at eGovernments Foundation. Our work includes developing policies and frameworks for MERL, data ethics and privacy, and public engagement. We also support relationships with Government of India entities, and anchor collaborations with a wide range of policy, research, and academic institutions. In parallel, I teach policy analysis at the Takshashila Institution, and am a member of the UN Security Sector Reform Advisory Network. I occasionally freelance as an editor / writing coach. My research interests include governance, systems design, international organisations, peacekeeping, transitional justice, rule of law in post-conflict states, conflict prevention, distress migration / displacement, and the law (and legitimacy) of use of force. I write occasionally on Indian foreign and economic policy. In my current role, I also write on technology policy, data privacy, regulatory design, and labour economics. Perhaps one day I\'ll find a job that combines all of these! You can write to me at a••••••••@alumni.tufts.edu.(Please mention \"via LinkedIn\" in the subject line.)
