Hey everybody, I’m Khush! I moved to the US from Pakistan. Transitioning to a new life in US & learning to navigate the basics of both personal & professional life has certainly been very tough. However, things always tend to workout in different ways. Funny story - I started my last job as an arcade salesperson, very young. I was so excited to work since people my age normally weren’t allowed to work back home. 4 months in, I broke record for the sales quota. The CEO noticed & came to meet me while I was working. I had never met him before. I greeted him thinking he was another customer & since I like to talk, I started blabbering my ideas I had about what can help to increase the company’s revenue. My CEO then asked “Do you know who am I?” I came to know he was the one who writes my paycheck after I blabbered away It worked out in my favor, he was impressed with my ideas & here I got the role with leading their Adverising. never thought I’d come this far out of my comfort zone, especially as an immigrant. I can say moving to US definitely taught me how to embrace change & attain adaptability. Fast forward, I have had great opportunities to work at amazing companies and help some of my favorite brands build their businesses. Cheers to continous growth
