I also represent Sammons externally with industry thought leadership, trade association boards and other functions.

Kevin has 20+ years of annuity experience across a wide spectrum of jobs and responsibilities with multiple carriers and firms. He currently serves as Chief Growth Officer at Sammons and also oversees the Business Development function. In his role, he is responsible for driving enterprise growth, profitable sales and sustainable enterprise value for Sammons. He has served a number of other business and leadership roles within Sammons, including a portion of his career advocating for the industry in Washington. D.C. and has a passion for the products, services and guarantees our products provide to retirement savers. He also has a strong legal, regulatory, operations and distribution background and is passionate about business and corporate strategy. Kevin is admitted to the Bar in Kansas, and has degrees in Political Science from the University of Kansas and Law from Washburn University School of Law.He is also passionate about Kansas University Athletics and runs a website, podcast and radio show dedicated to the Jayhawks. He is also an avid golfer, enjoys singing and strumming a guitar at local watering holes in Kansas City, and loves spending time with family. He is also studying to become a Sommelier, and has passed the first two levels of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) programs (With Distinction) and is now studying additional Court of Master Sommelier Coursework.
