ABOUT KEVIN RHONE

I have been working in the field of electronic fire and security for over thirty six years, starting my career as an apprentice and then service engineer, I am well versed in the maintenance and installation of service intruder and fire alarms, CCTV systems and emergency lights in accordance with British and NSI standards and I have maintained this level of technical knowledge throughout my career.I was employed as the General Manager, overseeing the day-to-day running for a large-scale security organisation in Nigeria. With excellent leadership skills, I was responsible for a large team of engineers, overseeing the resourcing of their work as well as their continued training and development needs.I was responsible for a large budget, ensuring my team successfully meet budgeted turnover, gross profit and cash flow targets as well as working to achieve KPI targets for maintenance, stock, work in progress and debtor days, something we achieve with ease through effective operational management.Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to gain experience in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from tendering, contract negotiation and commissioning, right through to completion and following up with clients to ensure their satisfaction. I consider myself to have exceptional project management abilities, as well as a real passion for ensuring the delivery of high standards of work at all times.Back in Scotland now and back on the tools as a Senior Service Engineer.
