I am a Senior Business Analyst currently working for People’s Partnership, provider of The People’s Pension. I’ve worked in the pensions industry for 35 years, with a strong knowledge of both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes. My specialism is pensions but also have some experience of insurance and wealth management. I enjoy working on regulatory, compliance and efficiency type projects. I have enjoyed recent regulatory work on auto enrolment contribution monitoring and relief at source along with work on investments and the complex valuation process. I am equally at home dealing with business process reengineering and small change.I have previously undertaken project manager and change manager roles.I am dedicated, professional and loyal. I love problem solving/fixing all types of issues and working closely with both Operations and IT to identify potential and viable technical solutions to complex issues. Process and system efficiency is always high on my agenda.I typically work with Programme Managers, Project Managers, Developers, System Architects, Business Architects and other Stakeholders including Subject Matter Experts at all levels and from all areas of the business including Operations, Finance, Sales, Investments, Risk and Compliance, IT and 3rd parties.Areas of experience include change & transformation, defect resolution, requirement analysis & elicitation, documentation, process workflows, benefits realisation, testing, pension software suitability analysis through vendor engagement. Input into Strategy & Innovation to develop new propositions. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)- Agile user story creation in Azure DevOps. Waterfall requirements elicitation and documentation including requirements traceability & acceptance criteria.BPMN2 business process modelling, regulatory change projects, root cause analysis, options and recommendations. Process re-engineering. Strong stakeholder relationships and management.

I am a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a career spanning 36 years in the pensions industry, handling both DC and DB products. I have an enthusiastic and positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service at all times, working hard for both clients and colleagues alike. A well rounded, flexible and hardworking team player who enjoys responsibility with the ability to motivate others using my own initiative or as part of a team. I love problem solving and fixing things generally. My experience across a range of industries and customer support roles has allowed me to develop solid communication skills and I also enjoy learning new ideas. With these skills I strive to meet and exceed targets within any role I undertake. I am comfortable working with colleagues from all levels of the organisation and I believe the feeling is reciprocated. Always looking for new challenges. Sometimes a simple solution can be far more cost effective and well received by the end user. I’ve been fortunate to implement many of these, saving the business significant expense.
