ABOUT KEVIN CROOM

As the Founder of The Croom Foundation, I am committed to creating equitable opportunities for underexposed and/or marginalized youth/ teens in and around Alabama. My professional journey began on the baseball field as a high school all-star, where discipline and determination earned me a collegiate scholarship. I went on to graduate from The University of Alabama, and began a successful career in sales—quickly establishing myself as a high-performing, results-driven professional.While I achieved measurable success in the corporate world, I felt called to do more. That calling led me to leave corporate America and fully dedicate myself to community empowerment and youth development. In 2018, I founded The Croom Foundation, a nonprofit committed to reshaping the future for students who too often go overlooked. Through our free, high-impact programs, we’ve helped place over 110 students and counting in colleges across 13 states, awarded over $4 million and counting in scholarships, and provided essential resources such as ACT prep, academic support, college tours, and mentoring. Our goal is simple: create life-changing opportunities for the students who need them most.My background in sales,song-writing, film and television and public speaking has allowed me to collaborate with Grammy-winning artists, academic leaders, top film production companies and celebrities, and Fortune 500 executives to amplify our mission. Whether speaking in front of a crowd or mentoring one-on-one, I strive to live out my personal mantra:\"When God blesses you, bless others.\"At the heart of everything I do is a desire to inspire, uplift, and create tangible change. The Croom Foundation is not just a nonprofit—it’s a movement to empower the next generation of leaders, one student at a time.
