I speak two languages most recruiters don’t: practitioner and business owner.I’ve spent over a decade on both sides of the beauty and wellness industry — as a licensed esthetician, esthetics instructor, and spa manager, and as a Director of Talent Acquisition who has hired beauty professionals and scaled multi-location brands from 8 to 30+ studio locations with 90%+ retention rates.That dual perspective is the foundation of Esthetics Expanded LLC, my fractional TA consultancy built exclusively for beauty and wellness brands.Over my career I’ve served as a trusted advisor to growing brands at every stage — guiding leadership through hiring strategy, compensation design, esthetics school pipeline development, learning and development program creation, and the operational systems that prevent turnover before it starts. I’ve built recruiting infrastructure from scratch, partnered with franchise operators across multiple states, and created onboarding and training frameworks that shape culture from day one.Most recruiters can’t tell the difference between a medical esthetician and a spa esthetician. They don’t understand waxing certifications, dermaplaning experience, or what makes someone truly great at client care.
