Senior IT Telecom Analyst - Network Engineer @Duke Energy Corporation

Responsible for the design, implementation, testing and documentation of complex data voice and video network solutions. Use thorough understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VOIP and firewall technologies. Responsibilities • Plan, design, test, implement and continuous improvement of enterprise data, voice and video network solutions • Maintain accurate diagrams and configurations for all network devices • Prepare engineering job packages consisting of detailed parts / equipment lists, and appropriate documentation (drawings, network diagrams, configurations, etc.) • Ensure cost effective design of systems with the ultimate goal of meeting business needs and providing reliable and efficient service to the customer. • Prepare and submit cost estimates for planned installations where required. • Maintain familiarity with current data, voice and video networking technologies. • Procure, turn-up, and troubleshoot both private and public WAN circuits. • Collaborate across the IT organization to provide end-to-end solutions. • Work in an Agile engineering environment on team based projects and assignments.
