ABOUT KENDRICK PERKINS
I went straight from Clifton J. Ozen High School in Beaumont, Texas to the NBA as a first-round pick in the 2003 Draft. Over the next decade and a half, I built my career on toughness, defense, and leadership anchoring the front-court for the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New Orleans Pelicans. Winning the 2008 championship with the Celtics remains a career-defining moment, but what I\'m most proud of is the trust my teammates and coaches placed in me as a leader and tone-setter in the locker room. After hanging up my sneakers, I transitioned into sports media as an analyst for ESPN, where I bring the same energy and competitive fire I had on the court to the broadcast desk. My philosophy is simple: respect the game, keep it real, and never be afraid to have an opinion. Open to opportunities in brand partnerships, public speaking, and mentorship.
