ABOUT KENDALL ADKINS
I’m a 3rd-year senior at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication and Sports Communication, with a certificate in Sports Communication, Media, and Promotion. My academic background has provided me with expertise in public relations, event management, media strategy, and content creation.Through my role as a Social/Digital Teams Intern with Lexington Sporting Club, I create real-time social media content, write engaging captions, and develop TikTok and Instagram reels to grow the club’s digital presence. As a member of Team Wildcat, I assist in managing athletics social media, increasing engagement, and organizing student section information. Additionally, my experience as a Merchandising Intern with the Evansville Otters allowed me to manage retail operations, oversee inventory, and support marketing initiatives.This year, I will also be interning with JMI Sports as a Key Partnerships Intern and serving as a Keeneland Ambassador, further expanding my experience in the sports and events industry.With a passion for sports and digital media, I am skilled in social media management, content creation, and strategic communication. I am eager to continue applying my skills in roles that align with my experience and enthusiasm for the industry.
