I serve as Managing Editor of Asphalt magazine and I am responsible for the development and publication of Asphalt Institute books, manuals, catalogs, annual reports and videos. I develop and update products by writing, editing and coordinating materials gathered from a variety of resources and authors and then I manage the design and production of printed books, eBooks and videos. I supervise online and print ad sales. I manage the writing, editing and design of 28 electronic newsletters annually. I manage magazine website content and all social media communications. A significant achievement in this role was establishing a publication that had long been an expense as a new revenue source in my first year on the job. Our team has been able to grow advertising revenue year over year. I assist with event management through creating printed event materials, taking photos and coordinating professional photographers. I work closely with our Asphalt Institute Foundation internship program and our Asphalt Institute EPIC leadership program.
