ABOUT KELVIN FLETCHER

A graduate of Nottingham Trent University who has been working in the Contract Research (CRO) industry since 2004.The early years of my professional career were spent in the laboratory, firstly as a Biochemical Analyst at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) and from there I moved into the Bioanalytical field with Quotient Bioresearch and then onto Envigo (formerly Huntingdon Life Sciences) progressing from an Assistant Scientist to Study Manager (Study Direction) over a 4 year period. During this time I was also pricing lead for all global Bioanalytical LC-MS/MS enquiries (Clinical and Non-Clinical) which ignited my interest in the figures and financials.I have always been passionate about Business Development and Strategy and equally Customer Service and it was my time as a Study Director where I was first exposed to this side of the business. In 2013, I moved into the Commercial team as a Business Services Manager, supporting Pharmaceutical enquiries originating from Central and Southern European customers. In June 2015 I was promoted to Manager of the European Proposals Team (Pharmaceuticals) with responsibility for three groups across Europe. After 2 years leading the European team I was asked to run the Global proposal function for the Contract Research Service (CRS) and Research Model Services (RMS) divisions. Since December 2024, I have held the position of Senior Director of Proposal Management (Early Development) following 6 years in an Associate Director position.I am an incredibly ambitious, hard working and proactive individual who enjoys the challenges, pressure and diversity associated with leading a large team within an ever changing Commercial landscape.
