ABOUT KELLY RICHARDSON

I’ve worked in marketing, communications, fundraising and events for over 20 years. I’m able to adapt to different sectors and markets and I can hit the ground running applying my expertise. I would describe myself as a passionate, creative, dedicated, organised, self-motivated, solution-driven and with attention to detail. I studied a Degree in joint Business and Marketing Management and I’m a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. During my career, I’ve successfully managed engaging and innovative marketing campaigns, communication projects, raised significant charity funds, and delivered mass participation events. I enjoy working with people in a creative and collaborative environment. I have strong communication and relationship management skills with a particular strength of emotional intelligence. I have the ability to adapt to different people and I’ve established some great relationships with media partners, stakeholders, corporates, community groups and volunteers. Throughout my line management experience, I’ve been passionate about empowering people, embracing their strengths and providing opportunities for them to develop. I’m constantly looking to learn new skills and knowledge. Over the last few years I have done an online Google course in digital marketing and evening courses in photography. In my spare time I enjoy photography, gardening, walking, cycling, travelling and fundraising for charities I’m passionate about including Sue Ryder and Cancer Research UK.
