Responsible for identifying/developing/disseminating New Program Development (NPD) best practices, work plans and evaluating progress of Jhpiego’s overall NPD efforts in order to increase efficiency, effectiveness and positive results in winning new business. Serve as a key member of the NPD management team responsible for overall department operations. Supervise and mentor staff. This includes actively participating in efforts that address identifying and promoting best practices across in leads development, proposal management, technical writing, partnering and post-award transition- the proposal lifecycle. Provides mentoring for staff across Jhpiego in roles, processes and approaches that result in responsive and compelling proposals. Lead specific internal and inter-office Program Development initiatives. This includes providing oversight for the implementation of a substantial portion of the annual work plan, engaging in NPD budget review and projections, and working teams, as appropriate. Serve as officer in charge when NPD Director is on travel or out of the office.
