a) Support external clients with procurement and strategic sourcing in facilities, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), capital equipment, real estate, and related categories.b) Manage competitive bid events such as RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Requests for Quotations), and reverse auctions for facility-related spend.c) Analyze client spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for increased compliance.d) Assist in developing and implementing category strategies for facility procurement.e) Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders and suppliers.f) Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions with suppliers to optimize value for clients.g) Facilitate contract processes and ensure proper documentation for compliance and audit requirements.h) Report on procurement activities, including savings achievements and process improvements.g) Collaborate with IBM’s global procurement consulting team to share best practices and support client transformation initiatives.h) Travel to client locations as needed to support project delivery and relationship building.
