ABOUT KEIR GILIUS
I am an experienced civil litigator with particular interests in family/child law, AWI work and commercial matters. I am a keen advocate of ADR and am an accredited family law Mediator.In recent years, I have been instructed in a broad range of cases, including: high-value divorces; complex child law cases (both private and public law proceedings); commercial disputes and mediations; contractual disputes; and cross-border family law matters.In addition to representing children in their own right, I am privileged to regularly be appointed by the Court to act as Child Welfare Reporter and Curator ad litem in private family proceedings; and I am also regularly appointed as Safeguarder in AWI cases.Whilst working full-time, I also tutor various courses at the University of Strathclyde and act as External Examiner to Robert Gordon University’s School of Law.I am a keen wine enthusiast and am currently studying for WSET Level 2 in wines.
