Skill Set: Technical Analysis, Business System Analysis, Integration Analysis, Requirement Gathering, Elicitation, Refinement, Angular 9, HTML, TypeScript, CSS, Bootstrap, SQL Server, Client Coordination, MS Office, Confluence, JIRA, GitHub Roles and Responsibilities: • Helping various clients from Canada, including banking (TD, NBC), and transportation (CN Rail) customers in developing / improving / migrating their current IT systems into new technical stack with added functionalities. • Communicate with customers, and other stakeholders to understand and document business and technical requirements. • Analyzing the business requirements, understand business logics, identify gaps, and elicitate those requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders including customers, leadership and business analysts. • Reverse engineering the code to confirm the business logics and document the current state. • Querying the data using SQL to understand the underlying data structure and values to make sure they’re aligned with requirements and current state. • Analyze and develop technical specifications based on the requirements gathered. • Convert the analyzed requirements into future state documentation and user stories for development. • Refine the user stories in sprint planning meetings and explain to developers the business logic and requirements in detail and provide updates in scrum meetings and ensure a clear and complete transition of the requirements to developers. • Help bridge the gap between developers, business users, and customers by providing clarifications to the questions, and regular status updates. • Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the business requirements. • Inform, and escalate if required, any issues to involved teams in case they become potential blockers for other areas of the project. • Assist in quality management reviews, ensuring API designs and related work satisfies product requirements.
