ABOUT KEEGAN PRENDERGAST
As a Software Engineering and IT management professional I enjoy building highly capable teams that deliver results that exceed expectations. Over the course of my career, I have helped deliver cutting edge avionics, such as the first Class 3 Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), and the Network Server System for the A400M aircraft. I had the privilege of leading the team at Calspan responsible for their unique Variable Stability System used in their fleet of test aircraft as well as the USAF\'s X-62. Both Calspan\'s fleet and the X-62 have been instrumental in the area of using AI in autonomous flight applications in collaboration with our customers. Working with Calspan\'s Jet Engine Test Solutions team I helped to expand the team and improve development processes to support the company as they execute a substantial project backlog in a highly dynamic environment that included product development and delivery, customer training, and ongoing customer support.Over the course of my career I have learned to be comfortable with being uncomfortable; stepping out of my comfort zone in order to work through ambiguity and take calculated risks in pursuit of a goal. This is simply the nature of solving complex engineering and business problems and they type of challenge I enjoy.
