ABOUT KAY QUILLAN

From a business graduate to a Harrods graduate scheme trainee to buying, selling and then marketing…Like many, my career path changed over the years as I moved from a retail buyer role in London (9 years) to a sales and marketing role in the Middle East (10 years in total) and into marketing in Scotland.I\'ve worked for a wide variety of businesses including interiors, fashion, textiles, and tech. It’s given me experience of different industries and also different markets. As you\'ll see from my previous work experience, I\'m very adaptable and I like a challenge!But my focus for more than a decade has been B2B marketing. And I’m constantly learning as marketing evolves – digital marketing, content creation, social media, video and now AI, all very much part of a marketer’s role.I learned how to set-up and manage a webinar during lockdown because in-person events were no longer an option.Fortunately, in-person events are back and even with all of the changes are still important for B2B marketing. B2B business really comes down to relationships. People like working with people they like.
