ABOUT KAYCE REED-BUECHLEIN
With over 15 years of experience in Human-Computer Interaction Design and Product leadership, I’m passionate about creating innovative, human centered solutions for complex challenges. At Medidata, I lead the Data Experience design team, where we specialize in cloud-based clinical research software. My team of 10 designers works across study build, data capture, cleaning, management, and reporting; driving innovation and quality across the entire clinical data lifecycle. Together, we’re shaping tools that not only meet but elevate industry expectations.Outside of Medidata, I’m an Adjunct Instructor at Indiana University’s Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering; currently teaching Product Management (I400/I590) in Fall 2025 and Capstone/Thesis in Human-Computer Interaction Design (I695) in Spring 2026. Teaching allows me to share my passion for Product, Design, and Tech with the next generation of innovators, and I find great joy in helping students navigate their paths in these exciting fields.
