ABOUT KAVITA MARDANIA
A commercially focused, BSc Business and Psychology student, I am currently a final year student who has recently completed an industrial placement at Microsoft as an Inside Sales Account Executive, within the Search Mid-Market Department. Enthusiasm and motivation are key attributes of my individuality; possessing a high level of self-discipline and organisation, enabling myself to adapt quickly to varying situations whilst still maintaining a flexible and passionate approach. Prior to my time with Microsoft I have held various positions, whilst working for RateMyPlacement I exceeded my sales target by over 100% proving to be the second best Campus Manager in the UK in 2015. As a result I was selected to be on the panel for the NUE Awards which are the largest National Undergraduate Employability Awards in the UK. Within my role at Aston Bright Futures I was responsible for growing society membership through PR, where I saw an increase in memberships by over 200%. I have a very strong work ethic which can be illustrated by adopting the role of a trainer during my time at Pret A Manger, despite this not being a part of my role. I have recently embarked on an adventure in Rwanda where I was volunteering with a charity called International Service in order to fight poverty. I will be graduating in FY17 and am keen to find a position within established organisation that will further enable me to grow and be challenged.
