WORK HISTORY
Community and Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser @Bath Cats & Dogs Home Rspca Bath & District Branch
Bath, GB
Bath Cats and Dogs Home is committed to the welfare of companion animals; to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home pets who are unwanted and far too often neglected or mistreated, and to promote responsible pet ownership through education. The Fundraising Department generates income and engagement with the charity, raising funds through events and communication with community groups. In my role I am one of the two Community and Corporate Partnership Fundraisers, taking the lead on all fundraising streams relating to corporate, community, and event fundraising across the charity. My roles day to day include event organisation of all BCDH events, communicating with outside fundraisers, and engaging with the community through informative talks. I also take the lead contact with the Community Group, aiding them with their own fundraising events where possible, and providing any support or materials required. I also lead and assist with self-organised events. My events organised so far include- Cat Cuddle-A-Thon (Event Lead)- Bath Half Home Visit (Event Lead)- Online Pet Show (Part of Event Planning Team)- Wag Walk (Event Lead)

ABOUT KATY GOODSHIP
Fundraising-based events specialist with a varied background of events experience, and an extensive history of delivering successful private, corporate, and public events. A meticulous, motivated and proactive professional, who is highly dedicated to providing fulfilling and efficient events to whoever the client may be. I worked my first event at Longleat Safari and Adventure Park in 2013 as a Customer Service point, and since then have spent the last 8 years dedicating my career to developing my event-expertise, working at small local events and soon after applying for an Events Management degree at Bournemouth University, which I then completed in 2017. During this time, I made it my aim to experience as many aspects of events as possible, taking opportunities to experience the staffing side, venue set up, marketing, and organisation of the occasion. Companies and events I\'ve worked for include; Isle of Wight Festival, 2021 Silverstone F1 Race Day, Dorset Blind Association, Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, LUSH Cosmetics, and Groupia.
