Recruited to the ANA in 2020, I lead a team of managers in building and establishing policy initiatives to empower nurses. I lead all operations, finance, and regulatory compliance to ensure programs exceed industry expectations. DELIVERED RESULTS: • Served as consultative staff for the National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing and ANA’s reckoning statement. • Represented ANA on the Measures Application Partnership (MAP) Coordinating Committee hosted by the National Quality Forum, presenting recommendations to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. • Led the $2.75M CDC federal grant for Project Firstline, educating nurses to improve their knowledge of infection prevention and control. • Reinvented the Healthy Nurse Healthy Nation Program, supporting the physical, mental, and emotional health of nurses nationally through peer-to-peer education.
