ABOUT KATIE GODWIN

As a Communications Manager at The Ford Field & River Club, I strive to optimize internal communications processes between departments, as well as with the membership. I create engaging and informative content that showcases the unique lifestyle and amenities of the private community. Additionally, I have over three years of experience as a Nonprofit Startup Consultant, where I help social sector organizations develop and implement effective communication and organizational alignment strategies. I have partnered with international NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, particularly in the humanitarian sector. I have also created brand materials and assets, monitored and responded to misinformation on social media and in the field, and inspired and unified staff, board members, and volunteers. I hold two bachelor\'s degrees in International/Global Studies and Sociology from Randolph College, where I received multiple academic and leadership awards. I am passionate about closing the gap between information and understanding, and committed to using my skills and knowledge to make a positive difference in the world through better communication.
