Lead the streamlining of onboarding to include Asana onboarding templates, automated emails and video messages from leadership. Worked with Chief of Staff and management team to create messaging for changes to our strategic plan including the development of FAQs, emails and verbal announcements. Created communications for our employee engagement plan to address areas identified in our annual staff survey. • Team management – Manage, support and mentor a marketing team of six. Assist with budgets, hiring and team management for a 25-person communications team. Implemented Asana project management tool, streamlined weekly meetings, and clarified processes for the team and organization. • Budget – Oversee communications budget and work with teams across the organization to budget for communications personnel hours.

ABOUT KATIE BRYAN

Katie Bryan is a communications director at the Partnership for Public Service and serves as a key deputy to the communications VP. She advances the reputation and impact of the organization and its programs by providing strategic communications guidance to leadership, developing and implement the organizations internal and external communications and leading a marketing team of six. Prior to joining the Partnership, Katie served as the senior manager for communications and development at the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program (Aspen FSP). In this roll she lead Aspen FSP\'s strategic communications and managed the life cycle of funding from proposals to reporting. Katie also served as the communications director for the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) where she led strategic communications for America Saves, a research-based national social marketing campaign that encourages American to save money and reduce debt. In this role, Katie managed the programs B2B and B2C marketing and oversaw the organization\'s social media, websites, media relations, and America Saves Week - an annual event involving over 1,300 organizations. Before that, Katie served as the senior communications specialist at the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) and handled many of the association’s websites and social networking functions. In her five years at CHPA, Katie worked closely on initiatives both of the CHPA Educational Foundation to promote the safe use of over-the-counter medicines and the StopMedicineAbuse.org effort to prevent medicine abuse. Katie holds an MA in Communications with a concentration in corporate and non-profit communication from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
