Kathy Freney Smith is the Associate Director, Development, Corporate Relations at Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art for the last 12 years. Previously, she worked at Delaware Art Museum, Winterthur Museum, and Franklin Institute.Kathy is passionate about cultivating, engaging, and stewarding corporate partners. She works to build meaningful relationships with corporations and uses her experience in event planning to match corporate marketing and philanthropic goals with Brandywine’s programs and initiatives.Kathy also leads the planning and execution of the Radnor Hunt Races benefitting the Brandywine Conservancy. Leading a committee of over 40 volunteers, Kathy plans the Radnor Hunt Races, now in its 91st year. The signature steeplechase event of the spring on the Main Line, the races are comprised of six NSA sanctioned races, thousands of tailgate and tented parties on the bucolic grounds of the Radnor Hunt in Malvern, the oldest continuous hunt club in America.
