ABOUT KATHERINE LANG
Katherine Lang is Senior Knowledge Lawyer for the EMEA real estate group at international law firm Baker McKenzie. She works with the EMEA real estate management team in aligning cross-jurisdictional thought leadership and business strategy, and advises, writes and speaks on complex transactional points, legal developments and their business impact for clients.Katherine is an editorial board member for legal journal Landlord & Tenant Review, a consulting editorial board member for LexisPSL, an affiliate member of the CLLS Land Law Committee, and a member of the BBP Green Lease Toolkit Legal Working Group. She contributes to legal and trade publications including Estates Gazette and Property Week. Katherine is vice chair of Oxford Real Estate Society and, with the OxRES Committee, organizes the annual Oxford Real Estate Conference at Said Business School, University of Oxford. Katherine works with external bodies such as the World Economic Forum and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development on key global real estate issues such as the digital transformation of real estate, ESG matters and green leasing. Before becoming a Knowledge Lawyer, Katherine spent over ten years as a transactional real estate lawyer at international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, in London and the UAE. Whilst in the UAE, Katherine spent a year on client secondment to Mubadala Development Company in Abu Dhabi.Katherine holds an undergraduate degree from St Peter\'s College, University of Oxford. She is also a qualified ILM Level 5 Executive Coach.
