ABOUT KATHARINE FRASER

Katharine specializes in strategic marketing, communications, and media relations outreach for energy and industrial companies. Her experience runs the gamut of energy subsectors including subject-matter expertise in oil and gas, petrochemicals, electric power, including renewables, with a strong grasp of market fundamentals and geopolitical factors, global and local.Katharine previously advised energy and legal sector clients through her own content marketing agency, Adroit Narratives LLC, following an extensive journalism career reporting on commodities, political, and financial news.From to 2014, Katharine covered energy news for Platts (S&P Global) in Washington and Houston, across a wide array of breaking news, complex policymaking, and energy market trends, ranging from the Western energy crisis and Enron collapse to the BP Macondo oil spill, with plenty of regulatory and refinery news in between. Katharine cut her teeth in financial news as a staff writer for American Banker in New York and began her career as a cub reporter at the Baltimore Business Journal. Katharine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she double-majored in History and Journalism. She is an associate member of the Houston chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
