While managing the social media platforms for this mental health nonprofit, I learned how to create engaging content that gained follow-through beyond likes. I post daily on Instagram with homemade graphics and send out bi-weekly newsletters, in addition to leading marketing for fundraisers and events. My digital marketing skills have shown their impact through collaborations with fellow small businesses, gaining new donors, and getting the community involved through events. In 2024, we won an award for best social media presence for small businesses in Kansas City. I am proficient in Mailchimp, Squarespace, Donorbox, and Canva thanks to this position.
