ABOUT KASHISH GUPTA
I am a third year Computing Science Honors student at the University of Alberta, actively looking for Winter/Summer 2026 internships. I have a strong passion for technology and continuous learning. My technical expertise includes Python, C, C++, MySQL, MongoDB, R, Java and JavaScript, along with a solid foundation in mathematics. I have competed in 10+ hackathons, including Best Design at Alberta’s first GovTech Hackathon and receiving an honorable mention at CIC Innovates. I have also been recognized as an Space Challenge Awardee (Top 2%) by Indian Space Research Organization where I worked on a disaster management solution, improving my ability to analyze large datasets and develop predictive models. These experiences not only solidified my passion for the field but also helped me develop strong problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills. Also, I have contributed to ongoing projects in clubs like Albertaloop and UAIS, where I worked with CAN bus, data processing, and software optimization which helped me apply classroom knowledge to real-world application and improve my technical skills. I am always happy to connect, collaborate, and discuss new opportunities!
