Ensure all activities meet internal and customer standards for food safety, quality, and compliance. • Support initial production runs by troubleshooting issues and offering expert advice on process improvements. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges while maintaining safety standards. • Work closely with CDM suppliers to address quality concerns and explore opportunities for new product development. • Train and upskill team members, standardizing procedures and equipment usage; maintain records of training and competency. • Plan, manage, and execute production line trials and evaluations for successful outcomes. • Build strong cross-functional relationships with R&D/NPD, production, technical, engineering, and other departments. • Monitor production processes and flag potential concerns to relevant teams, ensuring proactive interventions. • Host and support customer visits during production trials. • Coordinate with planners and CDM to develop practical schedules for new product launches. • Liaise with purchasing to secure raw materials and packaging for initial production runs. • Provide insights into product costing by assessing raw material and manufacturing expenses to ensure profitability. • Conduct continuous reviews of production processes and recommend improvements. • Perform detailed cost analyses post-trials and pre-full-scale production. • Collaborate with packaging technologists to explore innovative packaging solutions. • Develop consistent and repeatable processes to ensure quality and safety. • Ensure full compliance with food safety, legal, and quality standards. • Adhere to all company health and safety policies, ensuring the well-being of the team and myself.
