I operate as an independent IT Infrastructure, Cloud Consultant through my own UK-based company, delivering contract-based consultancy and project services to enterprise and MSP customers across multiple sectors. I provide end-to-end delivery covering design, migration, modernisation, and BAU support across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.My core expertise spans Microsoft infrastructure, virtualisation, backup and disaster recovery, cloud platforms, and automation. I design, upgrade, and operate Windows Server and Active Directory environments (including Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, ADFS, conditional access, and privileged identity management). I regularly deliver Microsoft 365 and Exchange migrations, hybrid deployments, and modern workplace solutions using Intune.On the infrastructure side, I lead VMware vSphere and Hyper-V modernisation projects, data centre consolidation, storage migrations, and HCI platforms. I design and operate enterprise backup and DR solutions using Veeam and Zerto, including Cloud Connect, immutability, offsite replication, DR testing, and documented runbooks. I have delivered large-scale upgrades such as Windows Server estate modernisation, SQL upgrades, file server migrations to Azure Files, and application migrations to Azure IaaS and PaaS.My engagements often include security, resilience, and operational improvement initiatives, covering firewall and email security, vulnerability scanning, ransomware recovery, and backup hardening. I also deliver DevOps and automation solutions using PowerShell, VMware PowerCLI, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling to improve reliability and repeatability.I act as a senior technical authority and escalation point, owning environments end-to-end, coordinating vendors, producing clear documentation, and aligning infrastructure delivery with business objectives through secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions.
