Understand and go over companies work flow to offer transportation options, procedural modifications as well as system modifications in order to address business needs. To be able to provide the best service possible and still be cost efficient.• Coordinating all distribution activities in shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.• Train new and existing associates on current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forklift operation and certification, proper WMS and RF usage, and safety compliance.• Ensures compliance with international and U.S. laws related to import/export activity• Establish and supervise all operating and record keeping procedures required by US Customs and FDA ensuring compliance of all federal and foreign regulations governing transactions.• Compile and manage all documentation and records required to clear goods through US Customs and utilize experience and knowledge of US Customs rules and regulations to classify goods and determine applicable duty and taxes.• Seeks out purchasing decision maker and hiring owner operators and develops working relationships with them.• Designs and delivers presentations highlighting the products and services. Including price proposals.• In charge of all the accounting receivables and payables.• Accountable for internal logistics customer service to sourcing and planning teams to include quarterly business reviews & exception reporting related to on-time product flow.• Be the onsite logistics operations expert for problem resolution & disaster planning related to the company supply chain.• Must have complete understanding of all supply chain costs & be able to monitor monthly freight expense variances; also responsible for 3PL audit & freight payment process.• Determined method of shipping, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
