WORK HISTORY
Director @Mmagency
Media Matters has changed ownership three times during its lifetime, the last one being April 2023 when Dawn and I took over ownership of the brand. A new company (DAKA Marketing Ltd) was set up to successfully manage this transition. Although this was a significant change, we were both adamant that the legacy of our unique heritage Media Matters should remain and so it lives on as our trading name – MMgency.

ABOUT KAREN MCNULTY
Here\'s what gets me out of bed: helping B2B businesses figure out how to connect their marketing activity to actual revenue outcomes.Dawn and I became directors of MMAgency in 2023 - a business we\'ve been part of for over 20 years, helping it evolve from a traditional PR agency into the B2B marketing partner it is today. That digital transformation journey (moving into the cloud, embracing martech, now integrating AI) has given us a pretty unique perspective on what works and what doesn\'t.What we actually do:We work with B2B businesses to align sales and marketing strategies. That might mean optimising the buyer journey, implementing proper lead generation, getting CRM and automation systems working properly, or helping teams embrace new marketing technology without losing sight of what matters: understanding your buyers and meeting them where they are.We also support B2B agencies with flexible, on-demand marketing services. Because we\'re an agency ourselves, we understand the capacity challenges and the need to keep client work moving without adding overhead.I\'m admittedly a bit of a technology enthusiast - AI integration, marketing automation, and martech innovation genuinely interest me. But after two decades in B2B marketing, I\'ve learned that technology is only ever the enabler. The relationships, the strategy, and understanding your clients\' business challenges - that\'s what actually drives results. We work remotely with a flexible 4-day week, which keeps our team fresh and focused. And as a Fellow Chartered Marketer who\'s navigated pretty much every phase of B2B marketing evolution, I still find this work interesting. Probably because every client brings different challenges, and staying ahead of trends means there\'s always something new to figure out.Let\'s connect if you\'re looking for a B2B marketing partner or agency support.
