I am a communications strategist who elevates the impact of socially and environmentally responsible organizations. Over the course of my career, I have managed brands; supported mission-critical business objectives including fundraising, membership growth and student recruitment; built strong, loyal creative teams; managed complex projects, and provided consultation, media training and ghost-writing for executives. Currently, I work with Friends of Bonobos, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing these endangered great apes into the wild in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I am also a self-employed consultant. I began my career as a newspaper reporter and editor and journalism’s core values - accuracy, honesty, and dedication to the greater good - remain embedded in my work.
