Karen leads Major Infrastructure Development across a portfolio of nationally significant projects. Having joined Anglian Water in 2018, Karen has led Anglian’s first Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP), securing a s35 direction and leading the only water infrastructure project that has been consented through the Development Consent Order (DCO) process since Thames Tideway. Now leading the DCO development phase for two multi-billion pound raw water reservoirs planned for the East of England in the Cambridgeshire Fens and Lincolnshire that will not only secure water supply for future generations, they will create places where people, water and nature come together.Karen has extensive major projects and corporate affairs experience developed in utilities, banking, regulation, and top-tier consultancy with responsibility for leading complex, high value programmes.
